Nitrox Certification Course

Nitrox is a gas blend that incorporates additional oxygen into the breathing air supplied from a scuba cylinder, reducing the concentration of nitrogen. This offers divers several advantages:

• Extended no-decompression limits and shorter surface intervals, particularly during repetitive dives, allowing for more time underwater.

• Reduced risk of decompression sickness compared to using regular air. 

• Potential benefits such as improved gas consumption and decreased fatigue.

Academics:

• Complete your e-learning, watch instructional videos at your own pace before meeting your instructor.

• One classroom session

What you'll learn:

• Enriched Air Nitrox: The benefits and limitations

• Equipment needed for diving Nitrox 

• Using dive tables with Nitrox

• Managing oxygen exposure

• Analyzing Nitrox cylinders

Requirements:

• Minimum age requirement: 12 years old.

• Certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent.

• Clear medical history or you'll need physician's approval.

Transportation:

• Each student is responsible for their own transportation to and from classroom.  (Pick-ups available for an extra $20 per person)

Included in Cost:

• Educational materials and instruction.

• Use of dive computer and nitrox tank for classroom use.

• Certification card processing.

• Private instructor

Not Included:

• Transportation to and from training locations (Pick-ups available for an extra $20 per person)

• Nitrox dives **Nitrox Dives can be added $80 for 2 tank boat dive, or $40 for 1 tank shore dive**
